Sekarang publisher Adsense bisa mengubah tampilan font iklan di blog mereka. Sementara ini, Adsense hanya memberikan 3 pilihan font: Arial, Times, dan Verdana. Dengan fitur baru ini publisher akan bisa menyamakan tampilan font iklan Adsense dengan huruf yang ada di blognya.

Menerima pembayaran Adsense dengan Western Union sangat cepat, mudah dan bebas biaya. Hanya dengan dua langkah kita bisa menikmati segala kelebihan yang ditawarkan.

Langkah 1: Setup

1. Login ke akun Google Adsense
2. Pilih My Account
3. Edit Payment Details
4. Pilih Western Union Quick Cash
5. Klik Continue
6. Isi First Name dan Last Name penerima bayaran
7. Jangan lupa untuk menyimpannya dengan Save Changes

Langkah 2: Gajian
Ketika komisi Adsense sudah mencapai jumlah minimum yang disyaratkan,sebesar 100 dolar, kita bisa meminta pembayarannya. Google Adsense akan memberitahu seandainya pembayaran sudah dikirimkan. Kita bisa mengambil bayaran tersebut satu hari berikutnya di agen Western Union terdekat.Kebanyakan bank yang ada di Indonesia sudah bisa melayani WesternUnion, baik untuk mengirim atau menerima uang. Bahkan Kantor Pos punjuga bisa melayani WU ini.

Ketika akan ke agen Western Union, jangan lupa:

1. Bawa bukti identitas diri resmi yang sama dengan yang ada di akun Google Adsense, bisa KTP, SIM atau Paspor
2. Catat informasi pengirimnya: Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. Phone Number: 650-253-4000
3. Tulis jumlah pembayaran, bisa dilihat pada halaman Payment History
4. Catat MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number), dapat diperoleh dengan mengklik ‘details’ di sebelah Payment Issued pada halaman Payment History.

Kalau sudah terima uangnya, jangan lupa sisihkan bagian yang menjadi hak mereka yang membutuhkan.

Catatan:
Pembayaran dengan Western Union dibatasi maksimum $2000. Apabila penghasilan lebih dari itu, GA akan mengirimkannya secara berulang hingga mencapai jumlah yang menjadi hak publisher.

Terlalu lama menunggu, telat dan khawatir tidak sampainya cek Adsense ke rumah sudah tidak berlaku lagi bagi publisher Indonesia. Sekarang publisher Indonesia sudah bisa menerima bayaran dari Adsense melalui Western Union. Benar-benar kabar yang menggembirakan

PIN Adsense

Sudah menjadi rutinitas saat weekend ke jogja, setelah mengantarkan istri kerja, saya selalu berkunjung ke rumah bapak. Selain silaturahmi, saya biasanya mengecek surat yang datang, karena saya masih menggunakan alamat rumah bapak untuk surat-menyurat. Weekend kemarin menjadi spesial, saat melihat sebuah amplop bertuliskan google. Tidak salah lagi, itu PIN Google Adsense.

Akhirnya PIN itu datang juga. Saya telah menunggu lama kedatangan PIN Adsense ini. Pada bulan September 2008 saya kembali mendaftar Adsense dengan nama istri. Bulan Oktober penghasilan Adsense telah 10 dolar dan pihak Google Adsense mengabarkan melalui email bahwa mereka telah mengirimkan PIN. Dalam email tersebut dikatakan PIN akan sampai di alamat 2-4 minggu. Setelah menunggu lebih dari sebulan PIN tidak kunjung datang. Mungkin alamat istri yang agak susah dicari sehingga tidak sampai.

Bulan Desember saya meminta PIN lagi. Pada kesempatan kedua inilah saya menggunakan alamat rumah dimana saya dulu dibesarkan, karena lebih gampang dicari. Sempat khawatir juga pas satu bulan dari request ternyata PIN tidak datang. Saya bahkan sudah request lagi dan mengirim email ke Google Adsense soal tidak sampainya PIN. Sesuai petunjuk di auto response dari Adsense, saya sudah hampir mengirimkan scan KTP istri melalui email. Belum sempat dikirim, ternyata PIN sudah sampai, meskipun telat sampai seminggu.
